Our Management Team:

Kendell Lang Chairman & CEO

The key to business success today is information. You must build an information infrastructure within your organization and shape it to fulfill your business needs. This is the job of a CEO. The CEO does not simply recommend hardware configuration or software development services, nor just define and construct the company's network. The CEO designs the company's computing vision that will propel the business forward. The nature of SensorWave requires that a CEO do more than just be responsible for managing staff. Specifically, the background Mr. Lang brings to SensorWave includes:

Providing leadership and policy development.
Articulating product roadmap and technology issues to the Company.
Providing vision and direction to all departments within the company.
Facilitating inter-company coordination of all organizational functions.
Developing, assessing, adjusting and helping in the implementation of the next gen product.
Representing the company on all external matters.
What Mr. Lang brings to the table

“Evangelist for innovation…Shepherd of good ideas”

His experience includes being an e-Leader and positive Change Agent. As a senior level team member, he has demonstrated that he can work with customer organizations on a project-by-project basis, and/or he can contribute to your strategic decision-making as needed.
Prior to joining SensorWave, Mr. Lang was the Chief Technology Officer for the North American Mission Board ("NAMB"), Southern Baptist Convention where he provided senior technology leadership for the Strategic Communications Group. His responsibilities included the development of a Program Management Office, as well as implementation of an Enterprise Architecture providing technology and support services to 50 State Conventions, 1,400 State Associations and 48,000 Southern Baptist Churches.
An important part of Mr. Lang's credentials lie from his past experience with Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., a Fortune 500 provider of diversified business process and information technology outsourcing. Mr. Lang has also provided technology leadership to organizations that include Gateway, Inc., a multibillion-dollar Fortune 500 company, WorldClass Software Solutions, Inc., a regional IT outsourcing and software development company, and GolfSAT, Inc., a B2B Technology Solution provider for the golf course maintenance marketplace.
Mr. Lang has also managed advisory groups within KPMG Peat Marwick and BDO Seidman, both international accounting and consulting firms.
Mr. Lang has worked as a "Community and eCommerce Architect" and has headed technology organizations for the design, installation, testing and delivery of many n-tiered online automated order entry applications that incorporate E-Commerce, middleware application development, adapters and enterprise system integration.
Mr. Lang is a past member of 3COM's InTouch CIO Association, a peer-to-peer organization for CIO's, as well as an advisory Mentor in CIO.com's Mentor-matching program. He previously served as an Evaluating Member for Tech Coast Angels and an Expert Resource for Angel Strategies, LLC and other venture capital organizations. Mr. Lang is an active supporter of CONNECT and is qualified as a Professional Mentor through IngageMentors.com.
Mr. Lang holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific Union College.

Mo Bjornestad is the Vice President of Engineering and founder of SensorWave Technology, Inc. (SWT).

In addition to founding SensorWave, Mr. Bjornestad has also co-founded the start up Astral Remote which is also in the surveillance technology market.
Mr. Bjornestad's career started with low level hardware and software experience with early machines that includes micro-code and machine code applications, upgrading OSs and compilers, and teaching software design and languages. Next came a decade of great fun, enjoying software development and IT management roles with Fortune 500 companies.
After a successful career in the ranks of the Fortune 500, Mr. Bjornestad discovered, well, actually rediscovered, start ups. He did his first start up in the early 70s. He experienced the negative, painful lesson of being wiped out by the energy crisis in 73-74 and worked for a living for a few more years.
Then in 1980 he got back into start ups and has never looked back. Start ups are hard work but offer a wide range of issues and responsibilities that make every day an exciting opportunity. It is a thrill for Mr. Bjornestad to help start ups to solve problems and advance new ideas.
His start up experience includes starting his own, and running companies for others. He has also been consulting and mentoring new CEOs, jump-starting sales and marketing management, and training executive management for planning and fund raising. He has mentored, consulted, and worked directly with a long list of start up companies including Accellengent (technology marketing), Advance Planning Solutions (business planning and decision support solutions), Astral Remote LLC (surveillance technology integration), ANAtech Corporation (document management software), Apollo Computer (workstations), BARTA (pro bono consulting and mentoring for hundreds of early stage start ups), Cadre Technologies (graphical modeling tools), International Business Accelerator (start up incubator and business accelerator), Mark V Systems (software engineering modeling environments), PortalAuthority (consumer internet appliances), Staffschedule.com (ASP for staff scheduling), and Stanford Management Group (meta data management warehouse and integration mapping toolset).
Mr. Bjornestad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and he also attended the University of Utah’s International MBA program.
